As a long time player, their track record for being transparent and diligent in fixing issues like this is good. SBI probably underestimated how much interest there would be and need to increase their server capacity. Just not everyone's cup of tea.Ģ) Admittedly there have been some lag issues since the F2P launch. For others - it's painful in one way or another - which is a totally fair reaction, but not really a good reason to knock a game. For some people, this is actually a thrilling experience.
If you haven't tried things like UO, Darkfall, Shadowbane, Runescape, Atlas - which are full loot, hardcore PvP games - Albion online will obviously be a shock to you the first time you get killed and someone takes all your stuff.
There's a lot of negativity for two reasons:ġ) People probably haven't played a game like this before.
